Great hotel, location is amazing, right next to a Spar supermarket where you can find a lot of great food, also really close to high street in Mestre, where you can get a coffee and some really nice croissants. Nice view from the room, amazing housekeeping staff, they have cleaned our room every single day, made the bed and towels changed daily!

Fabulous breakfast!! Not just “cornflakes and tea”, but really extensive choice of great food in buffet breakfast: salami, ham, cheeses, snacks, 4 types of eggs etc - so rich choice surprisingly much beyond my expectations! Staff in breakfast room non-stop replace ended dishes, so who arrived to eat late - get same choice of food as first one! Excellent job, guys! Also we arrived to hotel very early (at 7am) after morning train and been offered early check-in without any additional surcharge and also (!) breakfast! Excellent location-the bus to Venezia (Ferrovia) just 100m from hotel door. We stayed with our 2 kids and really can’t expect for more. VERY happy!

This was a better location than we expected. We had a light flight and didn't want to worry on how to connect to Venice proper via Ferry or bus with bags and kids after a flight in the dark. The hotel itself was fine, nothing fancy. But it was steps from the bus that takes you to Venice and a few blocks from a cute area with shops and restaurants.

The nearnest to all amenities and great places to visit. The receptionists are very helpful in guiding us on what buses to catch to the places we want to visit 😀

Well situated in area with lots of restaurants close by. Front desk staff were generally very helpful with exception of one clerk who always seemed to not want to deal with any of guests who spoke English. Breakfast was good and staff there were pleasant. Bus service to Venice was seamless and tram service to train station was very convenient.

Hotel Centrale is located not far from the Mestre train station, and across the street from a bus stop where you can catch a bus to Venice. The tobacco store next to the hotel sells bus tickets. Traveling with my son, we were able to afford two single rooms for less than what doubles cost in Verona. My room was very clean and comfortable. It was also quiet, even though located next to the staircase. There was a pharmacy near-by, and options for coffee and a light breakfast. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast, which we did not try.

Although the hotel is quite basic, the buffet breakfast is great. The staff are very friendly and it's spotlessly clean. The bus stop to Venice is across the road from the hotel (€1.50) takes 15 mins. Super service. Mestre is surrounded by lovely cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. As you'll be sightseeing all day, the hotel is perfect for a night's sleep. The price reflects the accommodation, cheap and cheerful!
